How to choose an auto clicker interval
Begin slowly, observe the target, and increase only when the application remains responsive and the rule permits it.

There is no universal best click interval.
The right interval is the slowest setting that meets a permitted, supervised need without causing missed input, heat, battery drain, lag, or loss of control.

Start where every click is visible
A slow baseline makes errors obvious. Set a finite count and watch the target respond to each click. Confirm that the selected mouse button, position mode, and stop control behave as expected before changing speed.
Do not begin at the smallest number the field accepts. Maximum rate is not a useful goal by itself, and many applications queue, drop, or reinterpret input faster than their interface can update.
Increase only to a sufficient rate
Reduce the interval in small steps and repeat the same finite test. Stop increasing when the workflow is fast enough or when the application becomes less responsive, the device warms noticeably, battery use rises, or input no longer maps cleanly to visible actions.
Browser rendering, remote sessions, mobile overlays, and games can each process input differently. A rate that works in one target is not a reusable benchmark for another.
- Keep the test count small.
- Change one setting at a time.
- Pause before the interface enters a new state.
- Never use rate tuning to evade anti-cheat or service detection.
Let the target's rule set the hard boundary
A technically stable interval can still violate a game's or service's rules. If automation is prohibited, a slower rate, random timing, or supervision does not create permission.
For offline or approved tasks, record the working interval with the window size and target position. Re-test after application, display, or operating-system updates.
