Start with Apple's built-in controls. Switch Control can scan and select interface items, AssistiveTouch can simplify gestures, and Shortcuts automates supported actions—but none should be described as an unrestricted background tapper.

Those are different jobs. A custom gesture can replay a gesture pattern, but it does not turn iOS into an unrestricted desktop-style clicker. A Shortcut can automate a supported workflow, but it cannot invent access to an app action the system does not provide.
Start with a reversible test
Create the smallest setup that proves the feature helps: one Switch Control action, one AssistiveTouch gesture, or one Shortcut with a clear output. Test it without account, purchase, or destructive actions in the path.
Keep an exit path available. Accessibility controls can change how taps and gestures are interpreted, so learn how to disable the feature before beginning a longer session.

For repetitive input related to a disability or injury, built-in accessibility features and direct support from the app or service are a stronger starting point than an unknown automation package.
